How much does a website cost?
One fixed price, agreed in writing before work starts. Then about $20 a year to keep it online — the domain, and nothing else. There is no price list, because every quote is for a specific project; what we can tell you up front is what moves the number, and what the running cost is once it's live.

What moves the number
A brochure site costs less than a site with booking, a store, or a custom admin. These are the things that separate a small quote from a large one — see which of them your project needs and you'll know roughly where it sits before we talk.
How much there is to say
A handful of pages with your own words and photos is the simplest build. Many pages, a lot of content to write or photograph, or a large existing site to carry across all add to the number.
Whether it takes bookings
Online booking — request forms, offer-your-own-times scheduling, calendar invites, follow-ups — is the single biggest step up from a brochure site, and usually the one that pays for itself first.
Whether it sells
An online store adds products, card payments, tax and shipping. Card processing is one of the few things that costs money after launch, and you get that number in writing before you sign.
What has to talk to what
Connecting the site to the tools you already use — a calendar, an invoicing system, a mailing list — so the repetitive work runs itself. Each integration is scoped and priced on its own.
How much of the admin is custom
Every site ships with a plain-language admin. Voice control, read-aloud guidance and tools built around how your particular business works are extras, priced as such.
Practical AI
An assistant that answers from your own content, or drafting help inside the admin. Useful where it earns its place, and one of the few features with a real running cost — which we quote up front.
The scale the quote form works in
The form asks for a rough budget so we can tell you honestly what fits inside it. It's optional, and picking the smallest band never gets you a smaller answer — it gets you a straight one.

- Why isn't there a price list?
- Because every quote is a fixed price for a specific project, and a list would either be wrong for you or padded to be safe for us. A 30-minute call is enough to give you a real number in writing, and the quote form asks for a budget band so we can tell you honestly what fits inside it before either of us spends more time.
- What does 'fixed price' actually mean?
- The number in the written quote is the number you pay for the work described in it. If you ask for something outside that scope during the build, we quote that separately before doing it — you never get a surprise on the invoice.
- What does it cost to keep the site online?
- For most small-business sites, about $20 a year: the domain, paid to your registrar rather than to us. Hosting sits inside the free tier of Cloudflare's network at small-business traffic levels, there is no software licence, and content updates are free because you make them yourself. Where something genuinely costs money — high-volume email, card payments, an AI assistant — you get the number in writing before you sign.
- Do you charge for changes after launch?
- Not for the everyday ones — you make those yourself in the admin, for free, whenever you like. Every project includes 30 days of defect support after launch. New features later are quoted the same way as the original build: a fixed price, agreed first.
- What if my budget is small?
- Say so on the quote form. We would rather tell you plainly what a small budget buys — often a focused brochure site that you can grow later — than quote something you can't use. Because you own the site, adding booking or a store later is an extension, not a rebuild.
- How does this compare with Wix, Squarespace or GoDaddy?
